| Building toilet facilities in urban area is a significant investment, since it enhances health and general well-being both at individual and community level and also it protects our environment. Government of Gujarat decided to provide toilets facilities to all urban families who don’t have their own toilets, Under the Nirmal Gujarat sanitation scheme. Target of one lakh toilets in municipal corporation and municipalities has been fixed for the year 2008-2009,144 voluntary agencies have been selected to take up the work in 7 municipal corporation and 159 municipalities. |

| CMAG has been appointed as the monitoring agency to supervise and monitor the work done by the NGO. CMAG organize committee for interview of consultant on 26-3-09 at GMFB, 18 consultant identified after interview according to their experience. |

| Monitoring format for individual toilet, were develop as per the guideline of the scheme to monitor qualitative and quantitative aspect of the toilets at district level. |

| Total 6931 toilet were monitored by the CMAG Consultant till 30/11/09. 13593 toilets are under monitoring process by 15 consultants. |
